ARE ACCOUNTING PROFESSIONALS ONLY LIMITED TO THEIR COUNTRY OF STUDY

Hello Everyone.

My name is Lucy Njambi and am a Kenyan. 

I have been born and bred in Kenya. This is where i have attended school and made bid milestones in my career.  I would want to branch out and sort employment in a different country other than my own. That challenge is that most employers want ot employ people who are within their region. I understand that tax egulations and the taxing applications are different from one country to another, but the accounting aspect is general irregardless of the country.

 

My reason for publishing this is because I;m looking for other accounting opportunities out here. i have worked for different start-ups/ SMEs in my country. i am well versed in the accounting field and i learn and adapt very fast. 

I'm looking to network with different employers who are willing to employ.

If you want to work in Nigeria, you have to move down here, except you want to do a remote job, which isn't common in Nigeria for accounting jobs. I think the only way to work in Nigeria is to live here. You can also apply for remote accounting jobs on Upwork or Fiverr, but it's not limited, there you are open to many region and countries.

I agree with Nkechi. Remote work in the Accounting Industry in Africa is just emerging and hopefully, it becomes more popular soon.
