    There are three specific skills every recruiter looks out for in every candidate.

    1. Functional Skill: The things you do, your transferable skills and can also be termed as your natural based skill, examples of these skills are communicating, planning, organizing, motivating, Sewing, Driving etc. They are your strength and can be used in different kinds of fields.

    2. Acquired Skills: This is your expertise, knowledge/Subject-based skill, you have learned this through school, work experience, professional training, etc. You are called an expert in this field based on your level of competence, industry knowledge, and problems solving skills.

    3. Personal Trait Skill: Your trait skill is seen in how you interact with people and the world, how you express, and qualify yourself. Example, innovative, creative, dependable, etc. These are people's perceptions of who you are too, being goal-oriented, self-driven, etc.

    This Unique skill helps distinguish you from the other applicants, this skills all put concurrently also gives the recruiter clarity on selecting the right candidate.

    These skills should be portrayed on your CV, Cover Letter, LinkedIn Profile, and most importantly during your interview.
