    Finance Officer

    Minimum 1-year experience working in a core accounting or reconciliation role preferably in a financial institution. ACA is compulsory.

    Our Client; a leading financial services provider in Nigeria is seeking to fill the role of Head, Budgeting and Control Group.

     

     

     

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

     

    Work with the Chief Finance Officer and other management staff in the preparation of the organisation’s corporate strategy and business plan.

    Oversee the organisation’s financial forecast, budget, budgetary processes and budget performance for control purposes.

    Monitor and report on variance analysis between projected and actual business performance.

    Oversee the preparation and timely publication of periodic financial statements

    Coordinate the preparation of regulatory reporting to standard

    Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting

    Manage and comply with regulatory reporting requirements and tax filings

    Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls

     

     

    EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATION:

     

     

     

    ·           Minimum of 5 years’ related experience in in the financial services sector.

     

    ·           Working knowledge of financial forecast, planning and data analysis.

     

    ·           Minimum of a first degree in Finance or related field.

     

    ·           An MBA will be an added advantage

     

    ·           Membership of a recognized professional body is required
