JOB VACANCY- PORTFOLIO ANALYST

Location: Lagos, Nigeria

Organisation: Comercio Partners, an investment service firm. 

 

Job Responsibilities:

·      To always carry out due diligence on varied investment opportunities by researching on relevant financial market data

·     Periodically meet with the Head of Portfolio Management/Head of Investments and provide researched information to support the investment decisions in the firm.

·  Support the Head of Portfolio Management/Head of Investments in designing and developing innovative investment and trading products across the group while keeping up to date with relevant financial market developments

·      To always monitor the financial news, keeping up to date with global market events and analyse the implications as it affects the Business

·      Analyse the financial information (financial statements) of certain companies in the stock market for investors use and to support decision making process by the firm

·      Ensuring adherence and compliance to SEC rules and guidelines especially for the SEC registered entities.

· Preparation of relevant management and regulatory reports (as required by SEC periodically

·      Planning for future development in line with strategic business objectives

Job Requirements:

·      1-3 years’ experience in Asset Management.

·      Candidate must have completed NYSC

· Technical & professional proficiency, strong organisational skills, analytical thinking, problem solving, project management experience.

·      Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Economics or Business Management or a related field.

·      Ability to work with minimal supervision.
