*Vacancy: Chartered Accountant*

 

Fantastic opportunity for a Chartered Accountant to join a great Logistics & Law Firm in Lagos!

 

The role involves taking responsibility for a portfolio of clients. This job also involves supporting the Management with company structure, compliance, bookkeeping, VAT, forecasting and budgets. The accountant will support all areas of a business’s compliance needs including:

 

Preparing annual and statutory accounts

Providing Management Accounts and regular reporting

Managing payroll and bookkeeping

Taking care of VAT returns and PAYE liabilities

Looking after personal and corporate self-assessments

Advising on capital gains, and other relevant areas

 

The key responsibilities are to cover management accounts, budgets and company tax returns.

 

Working in a friendly, well established team and forward-thinking team.

 

*Experience, attributes & skills sought:*

 

Chartered Accountant with experience in ‘Practice’ & ACA or ANAN Qualified

Excellent attention to detail

Familiarity with prominent software packages

Experience of improving accounting processes

Proactive, takes initiative, a good team player
