Our client in Retail Business is urgently looking for a detail-oriented accountant to perform and coordinate accounting duties in a supermarket within the organization.

Qualification: BA/BSc/HND
Experience: 2 - 3 years
Location: Abuja
Job Field: Finance / Accounting / Audit
Key responsibilities:
Managing receivables and ensuring timely collections of receivables.
Managing payables and ensuring full compliance with Withholding, VAT, and PAYEE revolution.
Coordinating accounting functions and programs.
Assisting with preparing and monitoring budgets.
Maintaining and reconciling balance sheets and general ledger accounts.
Assisting with annual audit preparations.
Provide accounting advice and support to internal teams.
Prepare tax returns, payments, necessary paperwork, and reports.
Performing other accounting duties as required or assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
B.sc/HND Accounting
The candidate should possess at least 2 - 3 years of working experience
Must have experience with accounting software [ Quick-books] and Excel
Highly Organized with attention to details
Should be available to work with little or no supervision
Professional certifications will be an added advantage.
Financial analysis skills, organizational and stress management skills.
The candidate must be based in Abuja.
Pay is very competitive
