🛑 Find out what your passions are, as they should drive your choices. What is it about accounting and finance that excites you?

🛑 Is what excites also going to be relevant in the future as otherwise, you have some soul searching to do.

🛑 Once you've made your choice about what it is you really want to do then you need to start moving towards it in your company.

🛑 You should run towards the change that's happening within your department.

🛑 Formalize your plan with your manager. Agree on what it will take you to venture into some of these new areas and get buy-in to do any training you need.

🛑 Now you've done all the things you need to do for yourself and remember. Be the CHANGE! Don't wait for change to happen to you.
